Back in December last year we announced that Gameloft’s much-anticipated Asphalt 6: Adrenaline game had been made available to download for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Now we have great news for all you Android users out there, as the racing game has now arrived on the Android platform.
As Will Wilson over at pocketgamer.co.uk recently reported, the Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD app – which is now available to buy for $4.99 / £3.00 – is a Burnout-style arcade racing game that sees players driving various exotic cars across equally exotic locations, picking up boost icons along the way.
One of the brand new features in the Asphalt 6 game (besides the improved graphics) is the Adrenaline mode, which activates once a player’s boost gauge is full. This mode not only super-charges the car you are currently driving, but it also turns the display into Tron-style fluorescent colors.
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD features a total of 42 licensed cars and bikes from manufacturers such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati, 12 tracks from locations such as Los Angeles, Bahamas and Tokyo, a career mode with 11 different leagues and 55 events and a number of tuning options for each vehicle.
