Samsung Galaxy Pop CDMA smartphone with Android 2.2 in India on March 25th


The CDMA customers of Tata Teleservices and Reliance Communication will soon have more options to choose for their CDMA network. After launch of Samsung Galaxy Pop GSM models, the company will hit the Indian store on March 25th with Samsung Galaxy Pop CDMA model as well. There is little disappointment on the pricing of new model as Samsung Galaxy Pop CDMA is set at price of Rs. 9750 which is Rs. 750 costlier than GSM model.

Apart from network technology, there will not be any major difference between GSM and CDMA versions of Samsung Pop. The new handset has Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating systems and Android browser. It is coming in bar shape and full touch type.
Some of other features and specs of Samsung Galaxy Pop CDMA smartphone are light weight of just 106 gms, 110.9x60.6x12.1 mm dimensions with screen size of 3.14". This offers wider space with easy for different applications usage on the mobile. Its battery offers talk time up to 5 hours and stand by time of nearly 13 days.

The smartphone has 3.15MP camera supported with digital zoom and auto focus. For internet connectivity it has Wi-Fi, HSD, USB, Bluetooth 3.0. The handset also has expandable memory up to 32 GB with microSD card.

Recently company has started targeted heavily mid segment in Indian market. It has recently launched Samsung Ace, Pop and Fit models targeted for customers looking for smartphone in Rs. 10,000 price range in India.
