Nintendo 3DS AR cards can be ported around on Android phones with new app

Nintendo 3DS AR Android

AR is an exciting word to be bandying about in the tech world right now. This next app is something Nintendo probably wishes it had thought of when launching the 3DS. A new application in the Android Market lets Nintendo 3DS owners carry around digital versions of AR cards meant for the said gaming system in their smartphones.
The app encompasses virtual versions of the Question Mark Block, Link, Mario, Kirby, Samus and the Pikmin AR cards that are bundled in with the gaming device. It includes a setting for altering the brightness of the screen within the app itself.
A phone installed with the software can stand in as an extra AR card and there’s the option to make the cards smaller if necessary. However, users have been warned against having too much fun with the shrinking since this can make them temporarily disappear on certain devices’ displays.
These space saving flavors of the Nintendo 3DS AR cards can be downloaded from the Android Market for free.
