For Verizon customers, there is the handy NFL Mobile application which was recently updated to work in conjunction with the NFL Draft. It’s free and it’s going to be the application that you should definitely download. You can find ithere.
There are probably more than a few of you out there that don’t have Verizon. If that’s the case, then you’ll have to settle for NFL ’11 Lite or snag the paid version called NFL Premium. The Lite version doesn’t offer live coverage but it should do the trick.
If you have deep pockets, snag the paid version, because it will give you live coverage and some other bells and whistles including: Draft Alerts, Team Needs Tracker, Draft News and, Draft Photos.
You could also try Live Scores from Yahoo! or ESPN’s ScoreCenter, although those are going to feature more general sports coverage.
As for those of you with iOS devices, if you own an iPhone, you’ll want to download NFL ’11 Lite or NFL ’11 Premium. If you’re looking to watch the draft from an iPad or iPad 2, you’ll want to snag the free NFL ’11 application. You can find it here.It’ll have everything you need including a live stream of NFL.com’s Draft coverage.
ESPN ScoreCenter (for the iPhone), ESPN ScoreCenter XL (for the iPad) and Yahoo!’s Sportacular are also available for iOS as well.
